Personal Care
Personal care services are designed to help with personal maintenance activities. In the past these activities may have been done independently, but now require an extra level of care and support.
Assistive daily living tasks may include:
- Bathing, showering, and sponging
- Dressing and undressing
- Shaving, hair care and grooming
- Assisting with rehabilitation and associated therapies
- Continence support
- Supervision of medication
- Assistance with mobility and transfers
- Support with aids and appliances
- Assistance with eating and drinking
- Food/meal preparation
